Iranian President begins US visit amid controversy

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has kicked off his third visit to the United States with two public appearances that have whipped up a storm of controversy and sparked angry protests.
The firebrand Iranian leader is to address the National Press Club in Washington by video conference and will later speak at Columbia University.
