Kosovo Independence

Kosovo’s parliament is called for an emergency session Sunday to formally declare independence from Serbia.”We are on the brink of a very crucial moment — an important decision that will make us one of the free nations of the world,We have to take decisions on the future of our nation” said Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.Bush praised Kosovo’s government for showing “its willingness and its desire to support Serbian rights in Kosovo.”The US and a number of EU countries are expected to recognise Kosovo on Monday.
