Encouraging your Child to Play

Play can be a fun and enjoyable way for children to develop many school-readiness skills. Children learn language skills when they play games, sing songs and recite jump rope rhymes. They strengthen their thinking skills when they construct a block tower, follow directions to a game and figure out pieces to a puzzle.
