Dr. Amit Kumar captured

The international manhunt for Dr. Amit Kumar has ended. The mastermind behind the cash for organs ring was nabbed in Saurah. The Nepalese town is 150 km south of Kathmandu ending a trail of terror.Dr. Kumar was carrying $145,000 U.S. funds along with a cheque for 900,000 euros when he was captured by a special police team from Kathmandu. He was taken to a regional police station in Hetauda according to Ram Kumar Chaudhary.Kumar is accused of stealing and buying kidneys after coercing healthy Indians and then selling the organs to foreigners for transplant.A world wide manhunt was underway when Kumar was captured.The police estimate that as many as 500 people had given a kidney to the organ donation ring.The mastermind behind the cash for organs ring was nabbed in Saurah. The Nepalese town is 150 km south of Kathmandu.
