Wyeth to pay $134.5 million

In a lawsuit filed by three Nevada women, Jeraldine Scofield, 75, of Fallon; Arlene Rowatt, 67, of Incline Village; and Pamela Forrester, 64, of Yerington,who contended that the pharmaceutical maker Wyeth hormone-replacement drugs had caused their breast cancer, a jury has ordered Wyeth to pay a $134.5 million.
