This adware application is a .DLL file that arrives on a system packaged with the MyWebSearch.com toolbar installer. It installs components, including an application that displays pop-up advertisements depending on an affected user’s browsing habits.

It also installs itself as a

browser helper object (BHO) by creating certain registry keys.

When an affected user attempts to connect to an invalid Web site, this adware redirects the connection to the following search Web site:

http://www.mywebsearch.com

It also executes certain applications if found on the affected system.
