Pirate music site shut down
Thursday, October 25th, 2007British and Dutch police have shut down a members-only website OiNK.OiNK website allowed the uploading and downloading of pre-release music and media to thousands of members.A 24 yrs Man from Middlesbrough was arrested and the site’s servers, based in Amsterdam, were seized.

Free music site SpiralFrog makes debut
Sunday, September 16th, 2007Free-music site SpiralFrog made its long-awaited debut on Sunday evening, defying critics who said the struggling company would never get off the ground.
The ad-supported music store opened with more than 770,000 songs and 3,500 music videos from numerous independent labels and Universal Music Group, the largest of the top four record companies.
