Apple may enter bidding war for 700MHz spectrum

When you hear about the upcoming 700MHz spectrum auction, the discussion tends to be centered around the rules for the auction, or how the traditional telcos (T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.) feel about it. Recently, news that Google may be planning to bid on a chunk of the spectrum has stirred things up a bit.
