BBC: iPlayer for Mac in 2008

According to BBC corporation’s director general Mark Thompson who said on BBC Internet Blog that BBC will launch a download version of its iPlayer online video service for Apple Mac users by the end of 2008.”I am happy to be able to confirm here that we are aiming to launch a download version of BBC iPlayer for Mac this year. I can also confirm that Firefox users are now able to download BBC iPlayer programmes. I hope this good news is evidence of the hard work that the BBC is committing to supporting other platforms,” said Mark Thompson.
